Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center is an accredited Cancer Program by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. In addition to meeting rigorous quality standards, our physicians also actively participate in twice monthly cancer conferences, or “tumor boards” to review and discuss the most complex cases. From diagnosis to treatment, the neurosurgical team at Sierra Vista is here to care for your brain tumor. If additional consultation or treatment is needed, the neurosurgical team at UCSF Health works directly with our physicians to ensure a comprehensive plan of care.

As a collection of abnormal tissue on the brain, a tumor may be cancerous or noncancerous.

Using one of the most advanced neuroscopes currently available, our dedicated neurosurgical team can illuminate cancerous tissue, allowing for a more precise removal of brain tumors. Putting this technology into the hands of our experienced neurosurgeons will help create better outcomes and heightened safety for our patients.

Early treatment of brain tumors can help to prevent further complications. Common symptoms of brain tumors include, but are not limited to the following Brain Tumor Symptoms:
  • Memory loss
  • Headaches
  • Tiredness
  • Seizures
