Are you trying to decide whether to give birth at home with a midwife or in a hospital setting led by a physician? A common misconception is that it has to be one or the other. At Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, you can get the best of both worlds.

A midwife is an independent health provider licensed by the state who provides prenatal care, birth care and postpartum care for women that have low-risk, healthy pregnancies. That can be in the setting of a birth center or in your home.
