Central Coast Market Hospitals Announce Executive Leadership
Dec 11, 2019San Luis Obispo & Templeton, Calif. – The Central Coast Market – Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo and Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton – has announced several changes to its executive leadership team effective Aug. 26, 2019.
“Having this new model of Financial and Human Resource leadership will improve service, eliminate redundancy, leverage synergies, and enhance our efficiencies overall,” said Mark Lisa, CEO of Sierra Vista and Twin Cities. “We are thrilled to have each in these new roles that will help improve all aspects of support to all of our caregivers.”

Scott Wartelle has been appointed the Central Coast Market Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this position, Wartelle will be responsible for the financial strategic direction and leadership for the market, which includes both Sierra Vista and Twin Cities. Wartelle has been Sierra Vista’s CFO since February of 2019 and has been with Tenet Healthcare since 2013. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and graduated from the Tenet Finance Academy in 2015.
Brenda Pettit has been appointed the Central Coast Market Assistant Chief Financial Officer, supporting the Market CFO in developing a Market Finance Service Center and integrating fiscal operations across the market. Pettit joined Tenet in 2016, was appointed Market Controller in 2017 and is a current participant in Tenet’s CFO Development Program.
Diane McCluskey has been appointed Central Coast Market Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her new and expanded role, McCluskey will work toward integrating and enhancing Human Resources operations at both hospitals, and developing a Human Resources Service Center to best meet the needs of nearly 1,300 employees. She previously served as CHRO at Twin Cities since 2016 and has been with Tenet for over 30 years.
